This was an off the wall idea to offer something different, where we had a fantastic positive response from customers well above our expectations. If you have a tropical greenhouse or conservatory and fancy hatching out some exotic butterflies you can now purchase these from us. We provide full instructions and a guide to some of the plants required. Some are to provide nectar that the butterflies need to feed on and other plants suitable for caterpillar hosting, should you want to take this hobby further. Please bear in mind that you would need to net any opening windows to prevent the butterflies escaping and you would need to try and follow a biological control to pest management especially if you are hatching out your own caterpillars. Personally I cannot wait to try these beautiful insects in one of our greenhouses but my daughter remains somewhat distraught at the thought of possible moths hatching out with 10" wingspans!
