Echium pininana Sale The "Tree Echium" is a spectacular plant with flower spikes in its second or third year to 14ft tall! Only hardy in very mild areas it puts some people off trying. However don't despair it can also be grown successfully if you have a cold airy frost free glasshouse with room to house it during the first winter? We grow ours this way in 10 litre pots and plant out the following April when they can withstand any odd late frost down to -5C and with luck throw a flower spike. Ginger Plant sale - Now that most of our outstanding plant backlog has been delivered we are concentrating on propagating new plants for next year and have decided to reduce the number of Hedychium plants for sale to make space. Our Gardman bird feeders are going down a storm with the wild birds - just took this photo outside of our kitchen window! With all of the recent hot weather our Garden is looking really tropical already, but the only complaint I had was the watering! Now its torrential rain and gale force winds!! (Jul15th) Good old British weather.
