Dont forget that you can keep up with the latest Jungle News on facebook?

Low Cost Warming Pads - If you do not possess a heated propagator we have some low cost warming pad solutions for raising seeds or to keep the roots warm of tender plant while we all are trying to save on heating costs in greenhouses and conservatories. Tender plants will tolerate lower temperatures with cosy feet!  More information here

Are you into Triffids? - For fun we have added a new mixed packet of seeds that quickly grow into Mammoth plants. This includes Giant Amaranth in Purple and Gold to 8ft in the summer season, our giant sunflower Craven strain, the Giant Naranjilla with its huge leaves, a new giant Ensete, giant Chenopodium and the huge Ricinus zanzibarensis that usually tops out the sunflowers in our garden. Available to order here

New Seeds - Recent seed additions included two cool tolerant water melons, two more aubergines one of which is lavender/pink and a range of dried bean seeds to try that can be grown like Dwarf French beans.

Latest offering is fresh seeds of the curry plant Murraya koenigii from our own stock plants but needs to be sown immediately on arrival as the seeds only have a short term viability.

New Seeds - We now have over 100 new seeds and I have just added hybrid Helleborus including double forms, a mix of hardy geraniums, Echium snow tower, Kaffir lime seeds, a lovely variegated lavetera and Tree Lupins to name just a few of the flowers. New vegetables include the fabulous Banana Melon, crystal lemon cucumber, white cucumbers and the Gac fruit. Click here for new flower seeds and here for new Vegetable seeds.

New Seeds - We are always looking for new and exciting seeds and this year is no exception with over 75 new seeds added to the Website since the catalogue was produced. To see the latest availability please keep a close eye on our new seed sections by clicking here for new flower seeds and here for new Vegetable seeds.

New Hanging Basket Seed Section - If like me you love growing plants for summer hanging baskets, tubs etc then this new section on our website should be of interest. It includes for the first time trailing geraniums from seed that many customers have been asking for, trailing petunias, lobelia and many other interesting flowering and foliage plants for baskets. If you are looking for something that's not there try giving us a call? Please Click Here to go to this new page.

CFL Lighting! - As the days get shorter it might be worth thinking about some artificial lighting for your tropical plants or early seed propagation. We have a good range of lighting options to choose from and these are all in stock.

Our latest addition is T5's mounted in units of 2's or 4's for easy installation. For more information on these Lightwave products please refer to our on line Product Pages.

Catalogue - Our new catalogue is available for anyone preferring hard copy to an on line shop, although most customers have now been sent a copy.

The Catalogue and websites have all been updated with many new and exciting seeds for you to try in 2011 and like other years if they did not make the catalogue you can find them in the New Seeds section of the website.

Propagators - Time to dig out your electric propagators and check if they are all ready for use over the next few months. Please remember to give them a good clean to help avoid damping off problems. If you need a replacement propagator or a new one we have an excellent range very competitively priced from Parasene, Sankey and BioGreen.

By the way Cheshunt compound has just been withdrawn from the market but we have a replacement in the form of Bayer Fruit & Veg Disease Control now available on our shopping pages.

Seed Gift Pack ideas - Apart from our other themed world gift packs we also offer a range of Easy Packets and some other mixed packets of Eucalyptus, Gingers and Rain Forest plants!

If you are interested in mixed packets of unusual vegetable we have put together an interesting collection of coloured dwarf and climbing beans, a coloured carrot mix, and a coloured cauliflower mix. For tomatoes we offer a "flavour" mix and other hardy and beefsteak options.

Explore the Eden Project Bio Domes in Google! -  A customer kindly updated me that you can explore the Eden Project with Street View. Follow the link below to take you to the entrance, wait for it to load and then follow the arrows along the paths! Quite spectacular!
