Fresh Corms Now Available

Caladiums are an old favourite of mine that you do not see for sale very often. They are difficult but with the right care they make a spectacular display of colour. Some of the varieties prefer more shade so please select appropriate tubers suitable for your situation. These are aroids that naturally die back for a rest period in winter, a week after die back dig up the corms and store in an airy location ABOVE 20C until next spring. Humid hot conditions are preferred to initially bring them on otherwise somewhat prone to red spider mite and try not to splash the delicate leaves when watering. They grow well in partial shade and make excellent indoor plants with long lasting attractive leaves.
