Our Rhizomes are harvested from growing plants and these are best started into growth immediately on arrival, in warm conditions. We do not recommend that you try to store them until the spring. Canna Rhizomes naturally do not go dormant and if left too long as a dried root they will die. Also Gesneriaceae will quickly dry out if not planted in heat and moisture as soon as possible after delivery.
