A very usefull low cost Chinese manufactured unit that measures the temperature and humidity at the base unit and the temperature where the wired probe is placed. Perfect for measuring Indoors temperature and outside temperature if the probe is placed just outside your window. Also very useful for measuring your greenhouse temperature and humidity with maximum and minimum statistics. In addition the remote 60cm probe can be placed inside your propagator for measuring seed raising temperatures or the outside greenhouse temperature. In summary:-

Unfortunately Cheshunt Compound has now been withdrawn from sale because of EEC regulations. However this new Dithane alternative should do the trick for those difficult seedlings. Each sachet makes up 3 litre but we would thin out to 5 litre for a weak solution that could be used regularly on small seedlings until established. Sterilised compost is also a requirement for effective results. (Use your kitchen microwave on the compost, let it cool down and then use for seed sowing). This product can also be used to control blight etc on fruit crops.

This wonderful new Gel2Root product is a transparent, homogeneous gel, formulated for the rooting of softwood cuttings. The product provides a clean, simple and reliable environment and eliminates the need for rooting powder, watering and feeding. Developing roots are clearly visible and potting on is at your convenience since rooted cuttings will survive for long periods in the gel. A sterile environment is a key parameter for many tropical softwood cuttings, perfectly created by using this product which also includes a rooting hormone for vigorous rooting.
Based on many years of experience you normally only need small seed containers for initial germination in a propagator. For growing plants in larger quantities of course normal half or full size seed trays are ideal but for smaller quantities try using these clear polypropylene containers.
The 100ml bottle makes up 4 litres of spraying solution.
