These plants will require to be kept frost free throughout the year, with some needing a minimum temperature of 10C+ during the winter months.  Many will benefit from spending the summer months outdoors either in pots or temporarily planted out and can really add to a jungle/exotic style garden.  Alternatively if you have a heated conservatory or large greenhouse, a number will do really well here.
