Borage is a pretty if not robust herb to 2ft with hairy grey green leaves that have a cucumber flavour. The leaves are used to flavour drinks or chopped in salads and the pretty blue bell-shaped flowers can be used as a garnish in fruit cups. The flowering plants are very attractive to bees and this annual plant will self seed once established.
