East Indian Lemon grass or "Malabar Grass" is an alternative tropical lemon grass also growing to 6' tall. When the leaves are crushed the fragrance resembles the scent of lemon. The stem and leaves are used for cooking in the Asian kitchen but it is also used to make a refreshing tea and for perfume, oil and medicine. Easy to germinate in a controlled propagator.
