From South Africa, the Natal Forest Cabbage Tree
has impressively attractive deeply lobed shiny leaves which are a deep red when they first appear before maturing to dark green. Not hardy in most places in the UK, we grow ours in a large pot which is moved to a frost free place for the winter. One of our favourites.
